So my posting schedule has been a little bit off this week and I apologize! My fall semester of grad school just started the same week I started my new job, plus Matt has been in Vegas all week. Needless to say things have been a bit crazy! I promise to be back to my regular posting and outfit pics next week.
I had a sweet friend text me the other day asking what color of blush she should use when wearing a darker fall lip color. Such a great idea for a post so thank you Jenny! I love wearing deep, vampy lip colors in the fall. To me, the most flattering are berry toned lippies (MAC "Rebel" is my all-time favorite, but if that's too intense try Clinique "Black Honey" which can be worn sheer or built up for more color payoff). When wearing these darker lip colors, I have found that pairing rosy-tan blushes makes for a beautiful combo! Check out my favorites below. I personally own and wear all of these regularly so I can vouch for how great they are.
1. First up is a MAC powder blush in "Blushbaby". This is a beige pink that you can easily build up color for your desired intensity. It's a great everyday color for fall (or anytime).

2. Next up is "Exposed" by Tarte. This is probably my most used blush! They describe it as nude, but it is a beautiful tan with rose undertones.

3. I love the traditional packaging that CLINIQUE uses. It's been around forever and reminds me of when I first started wearing makeup! This color is called "Fig" and is the darkest of the bunch. They describe it as a tawny, red-brown and I would say that is pretty accurate. Again, this one starts off pretty sheer but can easily be built up.

4. Last, but certainly not least is "Rockateur" by Benefit. This is a true rose-gold and has a really pretty golden sheen. Love this blush but it does have a pretty strong scent so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to smell.
