My Brother's Wedding!

Hey y'all!

So as I've said from the beginning, the reason I started blogging was to document this time in my life and this new adventure moving to the west coast. I absolutely love posting about fashion and beauty, but it is also important to me to post about things that are going on in my life right now. Today I am going to share a few pics from our camera from my little brother's wedding. The wedding took place September 25 in Oklahoma City. It was such an amazing week and I am so happy for my brother, Addison and his new bride (my new SISTER!!!) Kayla! They are the cutest. Hope you enjoy! P.S. I linked all of my outfit info at the end!

At the bridal luncheon. Isn't my new sister gorgeous???

Bridesmaids with the bride. I had so much fun with these pretty girls!!!

My mom and dad. Aren't they cute?!

So bummed the quality is poor on this picture because this is the only shot I got of me and the hubs!

Giving my toast at the rehearsal dinner! I hate talking in front of people, but thank goodness for liquid courage ;)

Getting ready for the wedding with my beautiful momma!

How adorable are these robes that Kayla gave us??? And her pretty white robe said "Mrs. Martel" on the back! Ahhh so sweet!

Ready for the wedding. I felt so honored to be a part of their special day. Absolutely loved wearing a flower crown. I would wear one every single day if I could. Just sayin...

Cell phone pic with my brother the groom! Can't believe he is all grown up and married! So happy for the new Mr. and Mrs. Martel! #marryingmartel

On A Boat

Hey y'all!

So I am back in San Fran after an amazing week at home celebrating my little brother's wedding! I'll be sharing a few pics from the wedding and my week away later this week. Today, I want to share a look that I wore a couple weeks ago when we went sailing around the bay for our friend's birthday. It was so chilly that day! I am so glad I wore this long, cozy sweater. I ended up switching out the vest for my NorthFace jacket and swapped my booties for some loafers before going out on the boat. We sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge, past Alcatraz, and all around the bay. We even saw some dolphins! Such a fun afternoon!!

Fall Ready!

Hey y'all!

Happy first official day of fall!!! Today I am sharing two of my favorite things: a fall transition outfit and a pumpkin recipe! This look is so easy and comfortable. The best part is that this dress is short sleeved so it can be worn when it is still warm outside, BUT the olive green color of the dress paired with booties and a chunky cardi make it totally fall appropriate. This dress is currently on sale at Old Navy and also looks really cute with a jean jacket and white Converse tennies. Check out the look below and make sure to keep reading for a little pumpkin treat!

Outfit Details:

Dress is Old Navy / Cardigan is Gap (they only have it in black online, but in store you can find my exact color along with navy and gray!) / Booties are Nordstrom / Bag is old from Tory Burch, similar here / Necklace is Kendra Scott in Navy Cat's Eye / Earrings are Sutton and Co Designs

This is probably one of the easiest pumpkin treats to whip up! My sorority sister made this once in college and I have made it every fall since then! It was originally a Weight Watchers recipe I believe (you can use all low-fat, non-fat ingredients if you want). It is super light and fluffy which is why it is called PUMPKIN FLUFF!!!

Pumpkin Fluff

Pour all ingredients pictured above into a large bowl. Mix together and put in the refrigerator. After approximately two hours, serve as a dip (really good with graham crackers or ginger snaps) or scoop into a bowl and eat with a spoon. Yummo!
*Keep refrigerated*

Hope y'all have a great first day of fall and wonderful rest of the week! My little brother gets married in TWO DAYS!!!!!

Fall Inspiration

Hey y'all!

Today I want to share a little fall inspiration with you! We had some really chilly days last week so I actually was able to wear this outfit. Score!!! For all of my southern friends, I know you still have a ways to go until vests and boots are necessary but it's always fun to play dress up and start planning for the cooler temps! This turtleneck is super soft and I love the length. I'm wearing a size small and the color "oatmeal" but it is available in several other colors. Will definitely be wearing it with leggings this fall and winter. Hope you enjoy!

Outfit Details:

Top is from Nordstrom / Vest is old from Loft / Jeans are Lucky Brand / Boots are BACK IN STOCK in select sizes from Nordstrom / Earrings are Kendra Scott / Lips are MAC in "Rebel"

Hope y'all are having a great weekend! I'm in Dallas and Oklahoma City this week for my little brother's wedding but I will continue with my regular posts. Thanks for stopping by!

Sutton & Co Designs Review

Hey y'all!

I am SUPER excited about today's post! I have been working with an amazing girl boss named Tiffany and have some adorable items from her website, Sutton & Co Designs to share with you all. Before I show you the goods, I want to share a little bit about the woman behind the products...

Tiffany Nelson is a Special Education teacher by day and a DIYer by night. Her love language is gifting to others! She is a true southerner as her shop revolves around monogramming and personalizing unique gifts. She describes her items as "perfectly personalized" and y'all that is spot on! She was kind enough to send me a beautiful bracelet and ring and I had the privilege of purchasing some precious monogrammed earrings. Check out her beautiful jewelry and be sure to check out her website as she has a huge variety of items. Go support this working momma! Plus, Christmas is only 99 days away (but who's counting? Ha!) and she has the perfect gifts for everyone on your list!

When you order from Sutton&CoDesigns, your items come in the most adorable packaging. Perfect for a gift, or just to treat yo self!
This is the Monogram Birthstone Bracelet. It is available in gold and silver and you have the option to choose your birthstone and style of monogram. I have really small wrists so typically these types of bracelets are too big on me, however this one fits perfectly! It is adjustable so if you have a larger wrist it will work for you too.
This is the Monogram Birthstone Ring and it is as customizable as the bracelet! Again, it is adjustable so it will fit any ring size.
These are the Small Round Monogram Earrings and I have literally worn these every single day since I got them! They go with everything and are stinkin cute!! Again, they come in silver and gold and you can choose your monogram style.

Here are a few pics from recent blog posts wearing the products!

I hope you enjoyed this little peak into Sutton & Co Designs! Be sure to like their Facebook page and definitely join the Sutton & Co Designs FLASH Sale Group on Facebook. Tiffany posts flash sales on her products! I just ordered the most adorable monogram blanket scarf (I linked it below!) and I know I will be wearing it all fall and winter long!

Nor Cal Rainy Days

Hey y'all!

So today we had the first bit of precipitation in the Bay Area since we've moved here! While everyone said it was raining, it was more of a heavy mist. My flowers are happy and I got to wear my Hunter rain boots so it was a good day. This is what I wore to brave the mist. The temperature was in the upper fifties all day so it really felt like fall. You better believe I had a Pumpkin Spice Latte and was burning my Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin candle too!

I love wearing stripes and leopard together. Throw in a pop of red and I'm sold! Now I'm off to clean the kitchen. I made lasagna and pumpkin cookies for dinner. Definitely feeling like fall around here!
